WhatsApp will stop working on some iPhones, Android phones in 2021

Whatsapp Company announced that WhatsApp would stop working on some Android and iOS smartphones by 2021.

WhatsApp will end its support for iPhones and Android devices that are not running on at least Android 4.0.3 or iOS 9.

To check which operating system your iphone device is currently operating on. IPhone users can go to Settings and click on the General tab. And press the Information tab presented with the necessary information.

Android users can also check which operating system they use by clicking on the Settings option. Then the About Phone tab to find the information.

The Facebook-owned app recommends users update their devices with the latest version of the operating system if their WhatsApp is not working and to enjoy new features.

WhatsApp is testing several new features that will launch for iOS and Android. In contrast, QR contact codes, encrypted cloud backups, and multi-device access are already trying new features added to the latest update.

Those using iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6S will need to update their software and operating system to iOS 9 or later. To continue using the popular WhatsApp messaging app.
